Default Rear Window Defroster

I have a 2011 Buick Regal I've owned it new since 2010. My rear window defroster only works in the centre of the window and doesn't clear the 2 outer sides. I've had it replaced under warranty and it's still the same. Has anyone had the same or similar problem??

I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you. Have you advised the dealer that the issue is reoccurring? Keep us posted on the direction you decide to take in getting this resolved. Feel free to PM us with your VIN, name, situation, contact information, mileage, and dealership. Regards.

I have been contacted by my dealership and was told they where told by GM that this situation with my rear window defroster is normal because the wires that go through the window are of different sizes? and this is normal for my 2011 Buick Regal.
I find this a VERY dangerous situation because it creates a large blind spot on both sides of the rear window. As a person that drives over 50,000 km. per year and mostly highway driving. This is NOT acceptable and it frustrates me to know I have been a GM owner for over 40 years and have never seen this on any of my vehicles. Nor have I heard of anyother Buick Regal owners having the same problem.....
PLEASE GM look closer to the situation here before an accident occurs.

I would suggest GM Customer Assistance of Canada if you wanted them to look into the problem more. They will best be able to handle your vehicle concerns. Regards.
