Lightbulb Body Kits/Modifications

Since Buick is trying to appeal to a younger crowd, what are your thoughts on mods and body kits?

Personally, I think that it will help to personalize your car and make it your own, and that ability will definitely appeal to a younger crowd. I'd like to retain the comforts and luxuries offered, but give it a style more of my own.

I agree but I still think that an older crowd will be buying the Buick Regal, therefore there may not be as much of an interest in mods and body kits and such... That said, the Regal GS has some pretty good styling - I think that adding anything may be overkill, but there are some subtle ways that it can be personalized.

I predict kits will come out in the south and on the west coast first. I like it as is, maybe just lower it and finished.

I agree. Just adjust the ride height so you don't have a huge wheel gap and keep the rest simple. I think the factory body stylings of the Regal and the Regal GS are quite nice... anything else just might be too much over the top.

I agree that keeping it simple is good, but maybe a front lip/splitter and a rear lip might finishing it out. The Regal and Regal GS do look good the way they are, but I just don't want mine looking like everyone else's.

I haven't seen many Buicks, if any, with spoilers. Do you think a rear spoiler on the Regal would be overkill?

I have no complaints or issues with the current body style for the Regal. I do think that the Regal GS has a sportier style, and that is more of what I am leaning towards. I won't be putting body kits on this car or making any major modifications - I think the Regal and the Regal GS are nice just the way they are.

You made a very interesting observation. Why do you think so?
