Bike Rack???

I'm a new 2016 Regal owner and in order to take the car on vacation will need a bike rack. Is that a bad idea with this car? I assume that putting a rack on top of the car is not possible and that a back mounted rack is the only way. Yakima makes several that look like they would work. Has anyone had success with this? Anything to avoid? The fact that Buick doesn't produce a bike accessory or a roof rack option tells me the car wasn't really designed to have one. Advice?

I have a new 2016 too! I have a bike rack that was on my 2012 Chrysler 200 that just got totaled...hence why I have a 2016 Regal now LOL. I haven't tried it on the car yet but the one I have is supposed to be universal. It's a Saris. Although Dave, on Everyman driver said he was able to fit his bike with the front wheel off, in the trunk with the seats down. I might try that too.
