Buick Regal sportback
So I saw this car online and test drove one and for some reason, I have kind of fallen I love with this vehicle and Iím wondering if there is any reason I shouldnít get one? They are already being heavily discounted because I donít think they are selling well but I think itís a very good looking car. The inside is slightly GM-cheap, but otherwise itís nice and the car rides so well and is so quiet. It rides like a luxury car and itís priced like a mainstream car. I also love Opel designs and itís sad to see that this will basically be the last Opel we will see in the US. But basically, I want a European car without the European maintenance costs. Itís not that I think European cars are that unreliable as much as the parts always seem to cost 2x-3x as much as Japanese, Korean, or American parts for some reason. Basically, this car looks like a slightly curvier knock off Audi which is why I like it so much. I also want a hatchback so this car ticks off every box. Same with the 4 cylinder turbo seems to be absolutely fine for me speed wise and mpg wise. So I guess the question I really have is that is GM pretty reliable again now? From what cars and reliability reports seem to suggest GM is fine now but I had an old Saturn SL2 what was pure garbage and always had something major wrong with it so Iíve had an aversion to GM ever since. But, Iíd be willing to give them a shot again because this seems like one of the biggest sleeper cars of the year that seems to offer a ton of value for the money that nobody knows about. So what do you guys think?
Also, you can pick them up off the lot for like 18-19k starting and can easily get one pretty loaded for like 22-23k or so it seems like a good deal. Are there any alternatives I should consider? Also, while I could settle for a sedan, I very much prefer hatchbacks and sportback/fast backs even moreso.
