2011 Regal Cxl w/2.4l hesitation

Does anyone experience a 3 or 4 second lag when trying to pass ? The engine just Boggs right down and then all of a sudden takes off. Seems like a torque managment problem.

Also as of late when downshifting the transmission binds and I hear a metal to metal pop when going up a gear.

Also the engine is very rough and getting louder and worse. Seems like I have some serious problems for such a young vehicle.

3 issues in 1 year.

Sorry to hear the problems you are experiencing with your Regal! Have you had the chance to bring this to the attention of your dealership? Please keep me posted.

Thank you,
Caron, Buick Customer Service

Had the same problems and brought it to my dealer.
They said it's the new electronic transmission shifting points that causes
the problems. after reprograming it, everything is fine now. I have 11000km

But you have to be persuasive for them to take charge...
Get a logbook everytimes it happens, date, weather, temperature, engine temp, mileage etc

Hope this helps
