hello buick owners,
I am in the market for a new car and am very interested in either a 2011 2012 Regal. What deters me from buying one is information. I am looking to get true reviews from actual owners. And I was also wondering why I rarely see any on the road. Any info will be much appreciated.

thanks

Hi Sean,

I live in Michigan and see them EVERYWHERE!!! Obviously being a member of this website I am a huge fan of the Regal. I have a 2012 turbo and love it. I got it a year ago and its charm has not worn off on me. I stand by my choice of getting the Regal through and through. Anytime I have someone else in the car they are extremely impressed. It rides great, looks sharp and is fun to drive. Take one for a test drive if you haven't already.

I have had mine for four months. My advice to you is if you are going to buy the turbo get used to putting Premium fuel in it. I spent the first 1200 miles putting 87 octane in it. There is a noticeable noise and performance difference between it and premium fuel. I am now putting premium gas in it and am enjoying the added performance and less noise from the engine.

I love the interior of my car and the functionality of Intellilink.

The trunk could be a little wider.

Other than that it is wonderful daily driver that offers excellent handling when you have a chance to hit the twisty roads.
First welcome to the forum. I have a 2011 Regal T built in Russelsheim Germany and really like it. The only problems I have had was the seat heater element went out but was replaced under warranty and works like it should. On rare occasions after driving on the highway for 15-20 miles and coming to the first stop there will be a rough idle for about 10 seconds. Happens very rarely but it has happened to others. It drives great. The seats are comfortable to me. I would recommend the turbo at least if not the GS. As mentioned earlier you will need to use premium fuel to get the most out of the car. If you want more power there is an aftermarket tune for the turbo and the GS. Quality of the materials seem really good as well.

What other cars are you considering?
