Car will not start! Message "service charging system". According to the manual and this message it says take car in for service. The center was closed on Saturday. After 2 battery tests at 2 different auto center I was told the battery was at 60% and to replace it. $149.00 later new battery the car starts up and drove it most of day. The battery is a heavy beast! It wasnt bad removing it as each nut is labeled with wrench size. FYI the oem battery is made in germany by Varta. I tried to find warranty info but no luck.

I understand that you attempted to visit one of our service departments on Saturday but they were closed. I do apologize for any inconvenience that might have caused you but I am happy that you were able to purchase a new battery and resolve your vehicle issues. Well to my surprise the battery was under warranty. The nice buick rep informed me and I was very pleased.
