Me too...

I too am having a problem with my Buick Regal stalling. Taken it over and over again to dealerships. All tell me the something, "We can not replicate the problem, so we don't really see a problem. I drive over 100 miles on the interstate a day and this is a very dangerous problem.
After stalling I can put it in park and it will start back up, but not until it makes a complete stop by itself. Very annoyed with Buick and the Dealerships. There is obviously a problem.... Just get it fixed......... or get me another car.....

Same problem...

I recently purchased a used Buick Regal in December, love the car and it has been great up until yesterday....I was at a drive thru waiting for my food and all of a sudden the car began to shake violently and the stability traction light came on as well as the check engine light, the little screen in the center of the dash read: Service Stabilitrak , I managed to drive the car home, although it was like driving through quick sand. I pressed the on star button and the woman told me something was wrong with the throttle and that it needed to be serviced immediately, I had it towed to the dealer and I am waiting for them to tell me what is wrong!

2011 Buick Regal

Hi, I just recently bought a used certified 2011 Buick Regal two weeks ago. I've had it in the shop three times so far. Has any one experienced a loud ticking noise from the engine area? They replaced the belt but still has the ticking noise. Now it is in the shop for the clock display and navigation settings resetting every time the car is shutoff. Also when putting car in reverse the car shakes and almost stalls and all the dash board lights come on. I've never had this much problems with any car I've owned and this car is only three years old. Is there any solutions to this car or should I give the car back?

I've recently had a similar problem with my 2011 Turbo CXL Buick Regal.. my wife backed out of the parking space, put it in Drive and preceded to drive 2 miles an hour for 15 yards. The car slowed and died out. She started it back up but the vehicle would not move. The gears were not functioning. She could not go forward or REVERSE! Before it died there was a strange vibration. . Someone please explain what this problem is

Big issues!

I have filed a complaint with the NHTSA. I have owned my Regal since 2011. My problems began in the winter of 2011, as I would accelerate the car would shudder and shake, then I would get a service stabilli trac message followed by a message stating that the engine power has been reduced. After I have the issue it will reset itself after restarting and then will run fine for a while. I called on star on several occasions and they told me that it has an engine misfire or the stability trac needs to be serviced or the electronic throttle body is malfunctioning. I have taken the car to the dealer and they tried to fix without any luck. I think part of the trouble with fixing it is the fact that the computer resets itself and therefore they can't find a code. The other issue with trying to fix is the fact that the car only has the issue when it is 35-40 degrees outside and below. Other issues I have had, driver's seat heater not working, outside trunk release not working, passenger side seat belt does not connect properly and of course the recalls for the driver's seat bolt and exterior turn signals. Now for the bad news for myself is that the car is out of warranty. Given the fact that I have read many similar complaints and most of them not being resolved, I find it very hard to bring myself to take it to the dealer and have them guess to what the fix may be at my expense. Of course, I don't want to be caught in an accident either due to losing engine power. I guess the only longterm resolution will be to get another car. I don't want to end up being another statistic on the nightly news. I really wanted to love this Buick Regal, my first American branded car in a long time. Thanks for reading.

The vehicle just completely died, no power steering, no brake assist, nothing. I had to put the car in park and then crank again and it started up with no issues.

2011 Buick stalling- DANGEROUS

I too have a 2011 Buick that I bought brand new. As of today, the thing has stalled on me numerous times. Today at lunch while driving in heavy traffic it stalled on me several times putting my life in danger as I had no way to maneuver my car.

I've called my local dealership to see if there was a recall regarding this issue, and there is not. After reading all of these posts, I'm greatly concerned that the dealership will not be able to find or fix the issue and I'll have to dump a lot of money into a car that is out of warranty.

How can Buick allow these issues to happen without resolution? I almost just want to turn it in and get a new car, I feel extremely unsafe traveling it in it, not to mention having my children in the car with me.

Any recent insight I can give the dealership when I take it in? Will Buick stand behind this major flaw, or will I have to pay out of pocket for this horrible malfunction?

Same story here. Stalling in the middle of traffic is going to cause a death, just hope it's not mine or my family. Then maybe we'll get a little help on this. Let's hope it doesn't go the way of the Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.

2011 Buick Regal Buick Turns-Off While Driving

It's so crazy, I thought that maybe I was the only one having this problem. It just started for me today. I saw the engine light come on over the weekend and then it went off. Then today it came on while I was driving and the vehicle shuts off. All the power stayed on, but I lost the power steering as well when it cut out, that's the only reason I even knew. I've had a hard idle and it shifts hard, but when I brought it up to my dealer months ago, they said that's just how the cars are. I can restart it after a few tries, but I've never had that happen with any non-american car. Scared the heck out of me. I'm going to take it to Autozone to read the problem if the light comes on again. I drive about 90 miles a day for work and I cant have a non-working car. Has anyone come up with a solution yet?

2011 Buick Lemon

This car is riddled with electrical issues. The GPS does not work correctly and despite it being a 2011 the onboard system thinks it's 2006. The quirky GPS and radio system aside, Stabilitrak errors. When a car shuts down on the expressway endangering not only my fiancé and mine lives, but every motorist and their family around me, a company needs to do something about it. Buick needs to take this horrible danger out. I'm heading back to the dealership tomorrow so they can guess at it as well. Then we are pricing another car and trading this awful death trap in of we don't get a concrete solution. Too many people have wasted time, money and safety listening to Buick's auto reply.
