96 Regal - Transmission shudder at start
98 Park Avenue - Transmission shudder at start
This is my sisters car. 50 miles away. 160k miles. I went over and and we went for a drive. The car has what I say is a hesitation and a thunk sometimes when it engages when she starts from a light or has to goose it to turn. If she goes lightly on the gas it doesn't do it.
Fluids were up upon checking. Torque converter? Shift solenoid? Any ideas? Cost to repair?
