Its not as bad as what the video makes its look like. I have friends that have driven and riden on that road. As long as you're not being stupid and always looking ahead of you. You should be fine. Still planning to go there later this year.
After watching this video would you still consider going to the Tail of the Dragon?
Click the link for the youtube video. After watching it I really have to think twice if I would still go to the Tail of the Dragon to either ride or drive. Theres just way too many things that can go wrong. Its still a really awesome road though.

even after seeing this vid im not phased. one way or another i will go to the tail of the dragon. i just hope i make it back alive. hahaha
No way would that video ever stop me. i would love to go, its just one of the best roads! that is all ! haha
