id rather rely on myself instead of caa. dont get me wrong i still have caa in case of really big emergencies but for the amount of time it takes them to get there i can change out for flat tires already. also theres a limit to how many times you can call them in a year before they start charging you extra.
For me it depends on the weather. Would you really want to change a tire in a blizzard? In that case or if it is pouring rain I would leave it up to the guys we pay to do it. I mean, CAA isn't free, so you may as well use it.
it really depends on the situation. 9 out of 10 times id do it myself. if it was a really bad blizzard or rain storm. then probably call them. i always have ways of using the 4 free service calls that come with the membership anyway.
