Cigarette Lighter for the Regal

has anyone found a lighter that will work in the new Regal.. I have tried every aftermarket model found in the local parts store and none of them actually work. it's like they're not deep enough to make contact. refuse to pay the $50 for the smokers kit from Buick. Also needs to be low profile in order for the little door to close. friend has a BMW lighter that is laying in his console since his phone is always plugged in to the outlet.....low profile....looked perfect. no dice, didn't work either. know the outlet works since phone will charge.

Any thoughts?
