Hey guys, east coast dweller here. Decided to register in anticipation of the GS, which I'm really looking forward to driving and then very likely acquiring!

Currently in a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT, which is a decent enough car but I've grown to sort of tire of it. Sure, the power is addictive, but it's not very comfortable, isn't extremely practical, gets terrible mileage and isn't involving at all. I'm ready to downgrade in size and upgrade in fun factor, fuel economy and practicality. :)

Regal GS

I just joined site as member. I am also waiting for the GS but with automatic. I also have a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT in liquid red. I am very happy withe the car but trade every 3years and that is up 10/25/11.

I must say the Regal site is a poor excuse for a car forum compared to the G8 sites. The G8 sites are about cars and not classified adds for everything but cars.

You summed up why I traded my 09 G8 GT

I really loved my G8, but I was beginning to get worried as my 36K warranty was almost up. It was already had to find parts, gas mileage was terrible in town (90% of my driving), I had been watching people leaving the G8 Boards moving on, and knew the G8 was hot on the used car lots.

I got up one morning to a dead battery (2.5 years, Really?) $165 battery, under warranty barely, and there it was in front of the showroom, the last Regal CXL Turbo (T05). I looked it over and had to leave my G8 overnight, the next day I drove the Regal, took it home, then beat up the dealer for two days and I have not looked back.

The only minus on the deal is my 0-60 time. Everything else is a huge win. :D
