If we were to come to the day where racing, on the TT, or the MotoGP and the GT3 Races, or the Lemans, or the B Class spec races and NASCAR, was silent....

why is it silent you ask? Because we have all switched over to the EV motor... how would racers feels to no longer have the scream of a high revving inline 4 and the deep tones of a v8 or v10, but all gone due to the battery and electrical motor whines...

how much of the racing spirit would disappear, and would it lack that extra emotional attachment to sound?

i for one, would never approve of full EV racing... as it lacks emotion and feeling and love for the sounds of racing.

Electrical motor sports is really beginning to have a huge kick! Even so the sounds it produces just becomes very emotionless, and bland, i mean sure it feels quick and drive nice, but its lacking depth and feedback from the car, all you'll hear now is an electrical whine coming from your battery powered motor.
