I see the low end Opel insignia in Europe is just under 25 thousad euros, I guess that's about forty thousand bucks. Can GM sell those cars here for that price?

I would assume it will be cheaper here. Hopefully we can get one for around 35. That is pretty much all my budget will allow anyways.

I'm thinking between the $35,000 to $40,000 mark depending on what upgrades you would like for your Regal GS. If the cost of the Regal GS is over $40,000, I think most buyers will opt for an Acura, Infiniti or Audi...

$35,000 for a "luxury" vehicle seems good to me, and for all of the standard features that the Regal includes, I think it's a really good price. Obviously the price will go up when people start adding options and the sort, but provided the MSRP of the Regal is kept competitive with other "luxury" models, there shouldn't be any problems.

I would think that if Buick were aiming at a younger buyer, they may price the Buick Regal a bit lowerer... Maybe $30,000 would be a bit more affordable? That's more of the price that I would be comfortable paying for a base model - I know options add up, so I would definitely keep that in mind. I wonder what the MSRP for the Regal GS will be? I wouldn't mind paying $35,000 for that one
