Hey folks. I have read this forum for about a week. There was alot of useful information posted and I want to thank all of you for that. I went ahead and jumped in today with a RL1. I did a lease.
Some of you are going "That's dumb."
However, I know myself which means there is zero chance that I would keep this car until it was paid off anyway. Plus, Texas doesn't have property taxes on leases like some of the states out there.
36 month lease on RL1 through Ally has 51% residual(at 15,000miles/yr) and $4,300 cap cost reduction(that is lease speak for rebate)... with 1.8% rate.... Not for everyone, but it is a good deal if a lease works for you.
