Have a '11 CXL with around 39K on it. For the past year +, it's been getting what I call a rattle when either starting or even while sitting at stoplights. Sounds like a bad diesel truck. It's intermittent but does do so on a somewhat regular basis. Have taken it into the dealership several time where they could not recreate the problem. Currently it is in again and once again they called saying they couldn't get it to do anything out of the ordinary. I finally went the other evening to see if I could get it to do it, low and behold, it did. Service advisor heard it. Now for the past several days since then, they've had it and again cannot get it to occur.

Several times when this happened, it sounded like it wanted to lay over and die on me.

There was a service advisory that came out within the last 30 days...the tone of it sounded like it could be what I am dealing with. They don't seem to be able to figure it out. I'm getting extremely tired of this issue, especially since it's been over a year and no resolution.

Hi airdad1,

I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing this issue for so long! I would be happy to look into this further for you. If you could send me a private message with your name, address, phone number, VIN, vehicle mileage, and name of involved dealership, I can speak with the dealership and help towards a resolution. Thank you!
