i changed the plate blubs out twice with two different types of bulbs and the car said "check bulb" both times. I just put the stock back in
LED tail lights
I was thinking of replacing the bulbs in the rear with LED lights. Has anyone done so? Any issues with voltage? I like the look of LED.

You will get the Change bulb indication, the only way you can do this, is to buy the LED bulbs with the CANBUS Type, since that creates a load and then you dont get the indication on the computer. The other option is to put a resistor on the wires that you are replacing that will give a load the computer telling it the bulb isn't burnt and then it wont give you the hyper flash as well since the brake light is the turn signal light as well.
i got the canbus and still made the car state "check bulb" and the other option is way to involved for two light bulbs. not worth the hassle
