Lemon?

I bought a new Buick Regal CXL in July 2011. In that time, the steering rack has had to be replaced (because they'd never seen one fail like mine had.) The OnStar computer failed completely and had to be replaced (That, apparently was also an uncommon repair.) While it was in for the OnStar repair, it was discovered that the cam actuators for both intake and exhaust were bad and had to be replaced. The noise that was supposed to disappear with the replacement of the cam actuators came back yesterday (8/21). I picked the car up from the service department the day before (8/20) and drove it several times that day without problem. Now that the noise is back, I am concerned and would love to talk to someone about what I'm experiencing.

I do apologize for the inconveniences caused by this issue. I can look into this for you if would like. Please send your VIN#, name, situation, and the dealer you've worked with. I hope this problem is resolved quickly for you.

Thanks.

They should have painted it yellow

Had all the same problems as every other 2011 regal owner I talked to. It dies, shakes, computers, belt driven accessories, HARD down shifts. So the dealer said do a buy-back. They "told" me all kinds of great things about doing that, getting a new truck at GM cost, my money back, takes only 10 days. All not true. GMRVDCHQ sent me an offer that made me almost lose my job cause I was so mad at work. I never posted before because I thought it was going to be a smooth process, it's not my fault I bought a manufacture defected car, right. Nope, they tried to charge me 6k over MSRP for the new truck after everything. I ran out of options so I talked to my uncle, a retired judge, actually he wanted to see my paperwork only and referred me to practice he "heard" before. I am losing my mind and it seems I gotta pay for their mistakes. At wits end! For the mod, here's my # 195798

It is better not to show your VIN number to the general public in open forums. I recently deleted information about my car that is available by VIN number with the help of specialists from clean vin service VIN Cleaner - Removing vehiсles history from Internet resources who cleaned everything competently and left no traces. Super!
