TINT looks Sharp
Thanks! The tint does make the car look a lot better.

I'm enclosing the HK Subs on the rear deck and adding a JBL GTO 10" in a sealed enclosure with a Kenwood KAC-7204 (500x1 4ohms RMS) next. I like the HK system, but lacks a little in the Sub frequencies.

Hopefully the guy I'm talking to at Superchips will get a tune available for Turbos soon. He told me the dyno netted 47 hp on the Auto HHR SS with our same motor. WHY did they De-Tune ours so much???

Looks good. What tint did you put on? 35% on the rear windows and windshield? Nothing on the front windows? I had 15% all the way around on a previous car and it was too dark at night, I think I am going to go with 35% this time, just worried about it being too light.

Thanks...
Nothing on the windshield, 30% Front Doors, 20% Rear Doors and back window. I had the dealer do this for the lifetime warranty, too...

Wow that is 30% on the front doors?! I can barely tell its tinted, so if I go with 35% it'll be pointless!! I just don't want to lower my visibility at night, ugh!
30% is as dark as we can go "Legally" in Texas... Sucks for sure. 20% all the way around would be nice.

Any tint on the front windows is illegal in Delaware, but no one stops you for it, however it will not pass inspection. I'm just torn to go with darker that looks better but sucks driving at night or lighter that looks worse but better visibility.

Tough choice... If it's illegal anyway go with what looks the best
Do you have a place that will pass the inspection? That would be my concern.

Nah, but with new cars here inspection is good for 5 years, then 2 after that. So I only have to take the fronts off, go thru and get it put back on. 20% would definitely look the best, I just hate the poor visibility at night. I like the rear tint if yours but I feel 35% is too light all around for me, bummer.

We only get 2 years state inspection on a new car in Texas...
5 is pretty cool!
