Hey folks,
I haven't posted on here since I had my 6speed 2011 Regal (I still miss that car).
Anyways, my wife's TourX tailgate power operation is acting strange.
The power tailgate now only moves like 6 inches instead of fully opening. If I manually open it all the way and try to close it, same thing.. only closes 6 inches.

I tried setting it to 3/4. I tried resetting the opening height.... nothing is working.
I posted the same thing over at buickforums but am not getting tons of responses.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated before we end up at the dealership..

Check the pinch sensors that are below the actuator strut.
If they get filled with debris, they can make the hatch think there is something blocking it.

how does one check the pinch sensors? they just look like panels with wires on the outside?
where is the actual sensor?
