I had that problem last week and resolved it. Apparently the piston needs to be twisted back into place clockwise with a special tool. Luckily autozone rents such tool. The tool is not difficult to use. Just attach the appropriate plate to the piston and twist with the attachment included. The guys at autozone can explain it to you. Good luck.
