I'm new to the forum and Regals. I have a chance to purchase a very nice 2011 Regal CXL Turbo T07 factory equipped with the P245 40R19 tires. I've never had low profile tires with 40 AR and have heard horror stories about flat tires and damaged rims hitting potholes and such. I live in Indiana and we have a lot of snow and poor roads for 4 months or so out of the year. I'm also concerned with the added cost of the tires in respect to them wearing a lot faster than touring tires. I hate to pass on the car just due to wheels but also want to be smart and may hold off to buy a scaled down turbo with the standard 18" 50AR wheels. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
