I Just installed my old Rockford Fosgate amp and subs into my 2012 regal. I'm having trouble with the remote wire for the amp. I have it plugged into the #4 fuse in the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel. According to the manual it is the radio fuse. The problem I'm having is that my amp continues to stay on after the car has been shut off and locked. Is there a better place for the amp remote wire? I obviously don't want to drain my battery

Have you figured anything out yet? Worst case, you could always add a switch and drop it in the drawer under the fuse box. I ended up doing that on our 2009 Malibu, when we still had it.

I had that issue with my Power Acoustik amp staying on. Then I used the High level inputs tapped in to rear speakers and now it goes off.
