Gauges

I would like to see the aero force gauge pod for our cars. That would be great. I am thinking of placing dual gauges up in the open spot by the sunroof controls. I am also thinking cold air intake.
kk. do you want a tro cold air or a intake that stretches to the fender hole with a shield?
Intake

Yep that is what I was looking for. But other ideas are welcome.
i think we are gonna have to wait on some of the big boys to make test pipes and catbacks.

ill probably go custom 3" catback keep the cat...for noise sake haha

Forge having the big boys make you an exhaust, just custom fabb one, grab a cat from some dude weld it on with some 3" piping, and a custom exhaust with an endpipe!

then you wouldn't have to wait!
yeah im getting a catback made in a month or two. have a decent quote from a guy. trading a full recondition on his truck for an exhaust. everyone loves to trade things for detail jobs hahaha
Dump the cat, it wont be that loud with the turbo I've got one I'm working on right now that's catless doesn't sound too bad actually.

yeah dude why dont you dump the cat? then you'll really hear that turbo.

i agree detailing as been quite an easy job, but ive never detailed a truck, biggest thing ive detailed a toyota Previa, man that thing took for ever...
i hate J-tubes is the reason im keeping my cat haha
also alot of the Cobalt SS's ive seen catless 3" blow turbo seals without a little bit of backpressure.

Don't need a J-tube (IMHO of course) factory cat back actually quells the resonance quite well also I've never heard of that issue with Cobalt SS's I had one that I did a decent amount of work to never had an issue, then again I did have a cat back on that car still as well.
gtprix where are you from?

also i think i might just pull the trigger on a 3" catless no muffler and go loud.
I just want a cold air intake. the turbo just isnt loud enough. My saab aero was really loud and the BOV got loud to just from a CAI.
Any update on this? I'd love an intake and maybe some of the charge pipes that you were talking with a BOV, want more turbo sound out of this car. Once my motor breaks in, I will tune it for more boost but need more sound! Keep us updated please!
It says OP is Banned. IDK - no infractions or anything listed. maybe he typed that in as his user title???

Id like to see better/bigger/more visible exhaust tips. Not large awful looking, just a bit more noticable...
Nope, he is banned, can't PM him or anything. Bummer, seems to be are only source of afterkemarket parts on this forum.

I wonder if the Cobalt SS intake will fit on the Regal? It is the same engine, maybe just needs minor tweaking. I haven't looked into it enough. I just want to hear the turbo more!

I agree, better looking exhaust, I wish I had the GS front and rear bumpers, just couldn't justify 10k more for it!

Looks to me like it could work. Turbo is in the same place, seems to have the same route/placement and room. The only thing that concerns me are the sensor hookups, one looks fine the other (MAF) is on the opposite side, but maybe that can just be rotated? Thoughts? I know its not the intake routed to the fender like some people wanted but its definitely better then the stock one! I just want to hear the turbo more, think it'd void warranty? It could easily be switched back to stock if need be for service. Now I have to figure out where/how to mount my HKS SSQV BOV I have laying around!

I have a custom intake, downpipe, and dyno tune done. Let me say no cats is loud however I also did a custom exhaust out the back. Huge gains as in no one would know what happened after you beat them lol.
i was just playing around on ZZP's website and noticed they released an intake and some exhaust parts.....
Your running a straight pipe on your car?

Mind recording a video of it and posting it on here im really curious what that car would sound like with a straight pipe in the first place!
